Requirements: Fellowship is for research in the Library of Congress. Applicant must hold Ph.D. or equivalent; must have received this degree within the past seven years, and must not have published or had accepted for publication a book-length historical work. Applicant must demonstrate that the Library of Congress will offer unique research support for his or her project. Recipients must spend at least two months in residence.
