Ladies' Auxiliary National Rural Letter Carriers Scholarship
The Ladies' Auxiliary National Rural Letter Carriers Scholarship is a Scholarship sponsored by Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Amount of Scholarship: Maximum: $2000

Requirements: Applicant must be accepted or enrolled in a mainstream college or university full time in the metropolitan Washington, D.C., area. Applicant must be diagnosed with a moderate to profound hearing loss prior to acquiring spoken language. (Hearing loss averages 60dB or greater in the better ear in the speech frequencies of 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz). Applicant must use spoken communication as their primary mode of communication. Hearing aid users are required to submit an unaided and aided audiogram current within the last 12 months. Cochlear implant users are required to submit their most recent mapping report. Applicants must also submit a Certified Official High School or Undergraduate Transcript (if applicable), as well as three letters of recommendation of which one must be from a current national or international member of AG Bell.
