Requirements: Applicant must be facing a sudden and catastrophic financial problem and be a resident of Western North Carolina (includes the following counties: Allegheny, Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Caldwell, Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rugherford, Swain, Transylvania, Watauga, Yancey).
