Amount of Scholarship: Full tuition or State University of New York (SUNY) tution cost, whichever is less, plus funds for room and board and allowance for books, supplies, and transportation

Requirements: Applicant must be a New York resident, be the child or spouse of a New York police officer, firefighter, or volunteer firefighter who died as a result of injuries sustained in the line of duty, and be studying full time in an approved undergraduate program at a New York postsecondary institution. To establish eligibility, applicant must submits Memorial Scholarship Supplement, available from HESC. Applicant must submit FAFSA and Express TAP application.
