National Competition for Composers

The National Competition for Composers is a Grant sponsored by Contemporary Record Society.

Amount of Grant: Minimum: $800, Average: $1200, Maximum: $5500
Application Deadline: 10-Feb
Requirements: First prize will consist of a commercially distributed new compact disc recording grant featuring one composition along with other distinguished composers and performing artists. Applicant must submit a resume, a non-puplished and not commercially recorded on any label, work submitted may not exceed nine performers, taped performancess are additionally encouraged, and compositions must not exceed twenty-five minutes in length. A self-addressed envelope is required with $3.00 for postage and handling, for those who wish to have their works returned. Application fee is $50.00.
