Requirements: Applicants must have graduated from a Nebraska high school. Applicant must enroll (or have already enrolled) in a Nebraska college/university that will qualify a graduating student for at least an entry-level position in print journalism. Preference is given to applicants with an interest in news, editorial, photography, circulation, production, or advertising careers for a weekly, semi-weekly, or daily newspaper. Selection is based upon scholastic ability, financial ability, and good citizenship in school and community. Applicant must submit a statement regarding career plans in the field of print journalism.
