"Nickels for Notes" Scholarship"
The "Nickels for Notes" Scholarship" is a Scholarship sponsored by General Federation of Women's Clubs of Massachusetts (GFWC of MA).

Amount of Scholarship: Average: $800

Requirements: Applicant must attend a Massachusetts high school and submit a letter of endorsement from the president of the sponsoring GFWC of Massachusetts club in the community of legal residence, recommendation from music teacher or high school principal, and high school transcript. Audition and SASE required.

A maximized likelihood of achieving your goal comes from finding out the requirements from the start and then determining if you qualify. Before you even begin, identify the reason for involvement of the General Federation of Women's Clubs of Massachusetts (GFWC of MA) and their goals for the "Nickels for Notes" Scholarship. If you meet the requirements, make sure there is any likelihood to receive the scholarship. Once you believe that you have a decent shot of actually being a recipient of the "Nickels for Notes" Scholarship, then it is worth it to fill out an application."
