Requirements: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Award is for travel and study in the Aegean Islands, Asia Minor, Greece, Mesopotamia, Sicily, or southern Italy. Preference is given to projects of at least a half year's duration and to students of the archaeology, architecture, classics, history, and sculpture. Award is not intended to support field excavation projects.
