You should always thoroughly research the background of the scholarship. The best shot of success will follow from first understanding the qualifications and knowing if you fulfill them. Prior to starting, be aware of the potential motivations of the University of Toledo and their reason for offering the Project Succeed. Once that is done, verify that you have a decent shot to obtain the scholarship. Once you believe that you have the possibility of actually being awarded the Project Succeed, then it is worth it to put forth the effort to apply.
An important part of applying for the scholarship is filling out the application correctly. Some forms are drawn-out and boring, but it is absolutely critical that the forms are filled out precisely and thoroughly. Avoid mistakes that might make you lose out as the result of something that could have been avoided.
After the required forms have been mailed, you should note when the Project Succeed chooses a winner and makes payment of the money so that you can know if you can rely on the scholarship to help meet any bills associated with your education and how it will help you out, as there may be restrictions on how you can use the Project Succeed. You might find it challenging to be able to manage the increasing costs of education, and getting the Project Succeed can be a huge help. If you don't end up getting the Project Succeed, keep at it, there will be alternative scholarships for which you can apply.
