Amount of Award: Average: $5000, plus travel costs for one return trip between recipient's residence and university
Application Deadline: 15-Feb
Requirements: Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident enrolled in the second or third year of his or her first undergraduate university program at an AUCC-member or AUCC-affiliated university that offers instruction in his or her official second language. Applicant attending a Quebec institution may be in his or her first year of a first undergraduate program. Preference given to applicant who wishes to study at another educational institution where his or her second official language is predominant. Applicant must be nominated by university (maximum of one nomination per university). Award amount is in Canadian dollars.
