Requirements: Selection is based upon talent and participation in theatre. Freshmen must meet two of the following requirements: minimum 2.0 GPA, rank in top half of class, minimum composite ACT score of 18. Upperclassmen and transfer applicants must have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Participation is required in certain theatre events.

A maximized likelihood of success will follow from finding out the requirements from the start and knowing if you fulfill them. Before you even begin, try to recognize the driving force for the University of Sioux Falls and what they hope to achieve with the Theatre Participation Grant. Once that is done, verify that there is a decent shot of actually getting the grant. After figuring out that there is a good chance of actually being one of the winners of the Theatre Participation Grant, then it is worth it to put forth the effort to apply.
An important aspect in the process of trying for the grant is properly completing the forms. Occasionally the process can be lengthy, but take the time to make sure that you fill out the application properly and thoroughly. Use caution to insure that you will not be bumped on a technicality.
