Requirements: Applicant must be a North Carolina resident or a full-time student at a North Carolina school. Awards are in two divisions, for ages 10 to 15 and ages 16 to 21. Audition required.

Your best chance of achieving your goal will follow from finding out the requirements from the start and knowing if you fulfill them. Prior to starting, figure out the driving force for the North Carolina Symphony and their reason for offering the Youth Concerto Competition.
