The Academic Scholars is a Scholarship sponsored by Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.

Award Information:

Amount of Scholarship: Minimum: $1800, Average: $4000, Maximum: $5500
Application Deadline: mid-August
Requirements: Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident at or above the 99.5 percentile on ACT or SAT I, or be a resident or nonresident who is a National Merit scholar or finalist.
Eligibility: College freshman, College sophomore, College junior, College senior

A good place to start is to thoroughly research any material provided for the scholarship. Getting the greatest odds of obtaining money comes from finding out the requirements from the start and making sure you meet them. Prior to starting, figure out the potential motivations of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and what they hope to achieve with the Academic Scholars. If you are qualified, you should determine if you have the possibility to receive the scholarship. Upon determining that you have a decent shot that you can be a recipient of the Academic Scholars, then you should use your time.

One critical aspect of working toward obtaining the scholarship is filling out the application correctly.
