The Affirmative Action Scholarships are minority scholarships sponsored by Special Libraries Association (SLA).

Requirements: Applicant must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen or submit evidence of becoming naturalized at the beginning of the award period, be a member of a minority group, and demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to SLA members and those who have special library experience.
