The ALA Career Investigator Awards are minority scholarships sponsored by The American Lung Association.

Requirements: Applicant must hold a junior faculty position, be making the transition from junior to mid-level faculty status, have less than nine years of faculty experience, and be working in a field relevant to the conquest of lung disease and the promotion of lung health. Preference is given to minority applicants and applicants interested in tobacco control research.
