You should always carefully examine any material provided for the scholarship. The best shot of success comes from initially researching the prerequisites and making sure you meet them. Before you even begin, seek to understand the particular aims of the Northwest College of Art and what they hope to achieve with the Continuing Scholarship. If you are qualified, figure out if there is a reasonable chance to receive the scholarship. After figuring out that you have the possibility that you can be awarded the Continuing Scholarship, then it is useful to fill out an application.

An important part in the process of trying for the scholarship is properly completing the forms. Some forms are lengthy and tiresome, but it is absolutely critical that the forms are filled out accurately and without omission. Pay careful attention so that you won't be denied as the result of something that could have been avoided.

After filing, it's important to know when the Continuing Scholarship confers the award and actually dispenses any funds in order to know whether or not it is possible to rely on the scholarship to help meet the expenses associated with school and what assistance it will provide, since there might be constraints on what bills you can pay with the Continuing Scholarship. Recently it has become more burdensome to be able to take care of the expenses associated with school, and being awarded the Continuing Scholarship to defray some of the costs can make things much easier. If you are not fortunate to receive the Continuing Scholarship, don't give up, there will be alternative scholarships and you may find success elsewhere.
