General Accounting Scholarship

The General Accounting Scholarship is a Scholarship sponsored by Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Award Information:

Amount of Scholarship: Average: $1000
Application Deadline: June 30 (fall); November 30 (winter or spring)
Requirements: Applicant must be an accounting major attending an accredited Colorado college or university who has completed at least eight semester hours of accounting courses, including one intermediate course. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection is based upon scholastic achievement and financial need.
Eligibility: College freshman, College sophomore, College junior, College senior, Master's-level study, Doctoral-level study

A good place to start is to carefully examine available information on the scholarship. The best shot of success comes from initially researching the prerequisites and knowing if you fulfill them. Prior to starting, figure out the potential motivations of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and their reason for offering the General Accounting Scholarship.
