You should always thoroughly research any material provided for the scholarship. Your best chance of success comes from finding out the requirements from the start and making sure you meet them. At the outset try to recognize the particular aims of the Goshen College and their reason for offering the Honors Scholarship. After making sure you satisfy the prerequisites, figure out if you have any likelihood of actually getting the scholarship. Upon determining that there is a good chance of actually being one of the winners of the Honors Scholarship, then it is useful to put forth the effort to apply.

One critical aspect of working toward obtaining the scholarship is paying close attention to the application. Some forms are drawn-out and boring, but it is absolutely critical that the forms are filled out correctly and in its entirety. You don't want to get passed over because of carelessness.
