Tuition and Fee Reimbursement Grant

The Tuition and Fee Reimbursement Grant is a Grant sponsored by Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs.

Amount of Grant: Maximum award: Full tuition plus fees
Application Deadline: within 60 days of completion of semester
Requirements: Applicant must be a Wisconsin resident and a veteran who was discharged from active duty within the last 10 years. Applicant must attend a Wisconsin school. Veterans attending Minnesota public schools that have a tuition reciprocity agreement with Wisconsin may also be eligible. Veteran's and spouse's combined annual income may not exceed $47,500 plus $500 for each dependent in excess of two dependents. Semester for which award is requested must end within 10 years after the veteran's release date from active duty.

It is important to check out the latest information on the grant. Your best chance of success is a result of initially researching the prerequisites and then determining if you qualify. Before you even begin, be aware of the driving force for the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs and their reason for offering the Tuition and Fee Reimbursement Grant.
